Funding a College Education

It's always wonderful to see families pitch in together so a member gets an education.

Such is the case of Taylor Brickhouse of Trenton, NJ, who's the daughter of Randy Brickhouse-Bey, a very active and accommodating Owner and Admin of Opal Solo Ads and many other sites.

We featured Mr. Brickhouse-Bey last 27 March 2018 on this post

Father and daughter have spoken of a Trump policy that has affected funding to her education. As such, they both worked on continuing her education. Click on this link to see how they both created a way to do so.

Taylor's a very determined and focused young lady out to further and continue her education. She also has a T-shirt site where she created beautiful designs which are Spirit-inspired.
Both parents and daughter are driven by Spirit and good intentions and invite all of us to help the young lady continue her desire to finish college.

The Bamboo Marketer

This post will take a momentary respite from ourselves as marketers and more focus on ourselves as human beings, taking a wonderful model from the humble bamboo plant, for nature has much to teach us anyway.

Romulus Valentin of 8 Hits

One of the most active and creative Owner/Admins I've ever encountered early on in internet marketing was Romulus Valentin from Romania, Owner/Admin of the dynamic 8 Hits site.

Mr. Valentin was one of those genuinely generous people who really cared what happened to his members.

I had been a member of 8 Hits since 6 August 2017 and have received quite a number of referrals, largely through Mr. Valentin's tireless promotion of his young site then.

I had discovered his site from some other website I was active with last year and was honestly intrigued by the compact design of his site, as well as the ability to earn from his ingenious 8-level matrix.

It was a deceptively simple site but I appreciated it even more when Mr. Valentin wrote an update letter to all of us introducing himself as a programmer, too!

That figures!

Now, I know that all the improvements he created on his site were the product of extensive care, thought, and programming. I know several other Owner/Admins who are equipped with such talent, too, but I must say Mr. Valentin makes it a point to connect with his members every chance he can get, informing us of his improvements each time.

And what is online marketing after all but the establishing of connections among marketers, members, customers, and of the world at large?

I am truly a happy member of 8 Hits for Mr. Valentin showed many many times that he cares to listen to his members' suggestions. Better than that, he actually invites us to do so.

And you have to marvel at the speed he accomplishes this in following his member's suggestions, such as that time I thought 8 ads on the ad page would be more in consonance with the name of his site.

Right away, the wonderful Owner/Admin created the necessary programming to create such additions -- barely overnight. I was surprised at the speed and beauty of his work. You can click on this link to view what I speak of.

He is one, true master of "energy exchange". He has his way of thanking his members, perhaps also because he appreciates active participation. It's not only about taking, but also about giving. He knows when people care, too, and he rewards us for such.

And for that, I am grateful and honored to be a member of his site. I hope you do, too. Please click on this link to join us happy members!

Mike Raday of Send My Solo

There's this wonderful Owner and Admin, Mike Raday, of Send My Solo -- a site I have been working a lot with for sending my ads and getting referrals.

I had been a member of Mr. Raday's site since 1 October 2017. You will be happy joining his wonderful site for he offers a sign-up BONUS of $5 plus 5 solos. As his site says, it will "jump start your income".

When I first started signing up on these JV sites in September of last year, there were only about four sites that offered a $5 sign-up bonus -- three were Mr. Raday's. It really gives you a head start if the Owners and Admins offer you such a generous gift. I suppose I was in the right place at the right time -- plain perfect timing and positioning.

I was really looking for good programs to promote and I found that creating a theme around that worked well in my marketing efforts. Thus, I created this particular tab on my Band of Banners blog and it's called, "$5 sign-up BONUS" and marketed like crazy.

Of course, that particular tab had three of his programs which I will enumerate at the end of this article. But among the three programs, this always came out the winner:

Because I worked hard and creatively at promoting his sites, Mr. Raday offered me a grood deal on SJV upgrades. He was most kind, generous, and helpful. Working with his sites was a wonderful exercise for me in getting a bunch of referrals and getting paid for my efforts.

Even as he had other businesses, he was always on hand to approve our ads or to answer our questions promptly. I liked the fact that he believed in my advertising abilities, for I sure had to teach myself that since day one.

When you're a marketer -- new or a veteran -- you're always on your toes for new developments. There's no being complacent in marketing. Nope -- ever!

Send My Solo was excellent training ground for me in promoting my sites, Mr. Raday's sites, and in getting referrals. In fact, everything in this JV world and outside of that had shaped my marketing skills.

There's always loads of learning to be done and fortunately, all the Owners and Admins I've featured on this blog have been kind, generous, and patient -- precisely why they've been featured.

Like I said, they only reward hard workers. It's just fair to do that, for they often run many sites and have expenses of their own. When you're a marketer, you just keep creating and testing. There's no let-up in that.

I'll be forever grateful to Mr. Raday for giving me a head start in my promotions through his wonderful sites here:

Send My Solo
International Mails
Mail Away

It would be crazy not to join these three sites. You're getting a $5 head start after all, plus an opportunity to work with sites that are so user-friendly and rewards all members.

New article on deciding to sign up to Mr. Raday's sites.

A Couple and Their Rebecca's Gifts and Home Decor Site

If you are a member of Tom Witt's mail and surf sites, you'd see this particular banner a lot, and being the inquisitive journalist, I asked more about it.

Mr. Witt created it for his wife, Rebecca, and here's his own story about it:
Yes the Rebecca's Gifts is mine, that is my main site and the reason for the resurrection of DragBusHits after 11yrs. and all my other sites.

I started Rebecca\'s Gifts and named it after my wife and I was searching for old admins that I had been in business with 11yrs. ago with my advertising site dragbushits.com. And that is why I got back into the advertising sites, I had forgotten how much I had enjoyed it and once I bought one I couldn't stop!

I try to be the best admin I can and be responsive to my members by approving their ads as quickly as I can.

Rebecca's Gifts is my a dream that I've had for many yrs. and I try very hard to get the word out about it. It is a really awesome site that people can buy nice items from. I specialize in home decor items & hammocks (my favorite item).

I just want to leave a legacy for my kids and a way for Rebecca to be taken care of when I\'m no longer around. And to offer people an honest business that they can enjoy and feel comfortable with when they buy.
Here's a wonderful photo of the Witt family showing eldest son Joshua, his mom Rebecca, and dad Tom. Not shown is the youngest son, Jacob.

It will be worth your while to check this wonderful site created by Mr. Witt for his beloved Rebecca. If you love cozy stuff and appreciate simple, relaxed living done with a natural flair, you will surely enjoy Rebecca's Gifts and Home Decor

Mr. Witt's happy fellow here's happy to tell you that they're accepting PayPal -- just so you know!

Robert Norton of Easy Ads

Robert Norton of the new Easy Ads is one of the most quiet and generous Owner/Admins I've known in the JV marketing arena. You will see many of his exciting sites around and wonder how he manages all those each day. If you've even been Admin for a day, you'd know what I mean.

And when you get to know how he responded immediately to my Underhill blog post of 26 March 2018, you'd be touched, too.

Mr. Norton wanted to donate to the Underhill fund but it seems the "campaign was complete and no more active". Of course, we're all hoping everything turned out alright for the Underhill family. The Admins and I had been working so hard to do what we can to extend whatever help was available from each one of us.

As a recourse, Mr. Norton decided instead (and brilliantly, too, like a couple more Owners and Admins) to merely sign up with Valerie Underhill's site, Build Viral, and he purchased some advertising as well.

And all these were done quietly and I only got to know about it when I logged in to my Build Viral account. In fact, it was only today I learned from Mr. Norton that he was the one who purchased advertising.

I believe in the spirit of collective effort. Even as Mrs. Underhill has no idea of how we all banded together to help, the important thing is the intention -- the desire to help.

Mr. Norton runs many, many sites and yet he made time to stop by and see how he could help. He took the initiative, got creative, and I was truly happy to see that a well-known Owner and Admin didn't mind signing up under my link -- I, a mere member.

These are the wonderful stories that get me writing night and day. In fact, these are the real stories that matter. It's not so much what people put out there in the open when they conduct their business; it's more how they really are off the business side.

I signed up with Easy Ads today after a link given me by Mr. Norton. It's his latest baby and I must tell you that this is the first time I signed up to such a site and I found it vibrant and exciting -- the energy was almost palpable when you're wandering around the site, familiarizing yourself with the stuff in it.

Originally, I wanted to associate Mr. Norton with Solo Go, a cool and clear site I had signed up with on 7 October 2017, but the timely e-mail from Mr. Norton led to Easy Ads instead.

I don't mind. Any site from Mr. Norton rocks anyway. You'd feel the same way, too, I promise you. Start with these two sites and you will surely be led to other worthwhile Norton sites along the way.

Work with people who've got heart. That will pave the way for your own success -- with heart.

It's always about heart.

That's the whole objective of Marketers Unite.

Brenda Underwood of Easy Surf Ads

I seem to see her everywhere -- at least where her mail and surf sites are. That's Brenda Underwood of the manual surf site, Easy Surf Ads, It will blow your mind to know that she's Owner and Admin of 30 sites, phew!

One really marvels at how she even manages to leave messages for the members, where there are surf-and-chat sessions considering she manages all those sites, but she sure does!

She's really kind, too. Upon receiving news of the Underhill story, she immediately helped in her own way and signed up at CEO Valerie Underhill's Build Viral site -- in silent support of her friend, for apparently she knows Mrs. Underhill.

I really marvel at all these Owners and Admins featured here at Marketers Unite -- at how creative and caring they are.

I like the idea that while the Underhills were facing deep challenges, here we were sort of "holding the fort", at least until Mrs. Underhill gets back. I like stuff like that -- of doing things on your initiative and not asking for anything in return -- and yet, somehow, things come full circle. Weird, but it does.

Brenda Underwood says of Valerie Underhill:

"i have known Valerie forever, very sweet girl and person."

Of course, we hope all is well with the Underhills as we all go about our daily lives. Will update you soon as I get news from Mrs. Underhill as I am a member of her site, too. She will probably send us an e-mail.

I would really like to thank Ms. Underwood for heeding the call, no matter how busy she is and having her own share of pressing concerns.

I had signed up on her pretty site, Easy Surf Ads, on 8 September 2017. The header had a pretty lady in a two-piece bikini, intent on surfing. I wondered what happened to that cool header. It has now been replaced with this equally-cool banner image.

I love her sites, signed up on a lot of them, for they are fun, free, and easy sites. There are no hard and fast rules, except for the basic JV rules about propriety and solidarity. The rest of the time, you can enjoy promoting your programs and links using the credits, solos, FREE ad packs, and JV upgrades her 30 sites provide.

Click on this Easy Surf Ads link now and enjoy promoting your programs and her site. Others will enjoy being part of it, too!

Beverly Maxfield of Bull's Eye Surf

There are quite a number of wonderful lady Owners and Admins in the JV world -- extremely capable -- one of which is Beverly Maxfield who owns and operates Bull's Eye Surf.

I have included Ms. Maxfield in the blog posts here because she's also an Admin who cared about what I wrote a few days ago, "For Val and Bob Underhill".

We're still waiting for further updates about the Underhills and I promised to update the Admins who expressed interest in helping, and yet here's Ms. Maxfield, still very open about helping out in her own, distinct way. Her simple and straightforward manner almost breathes of, "Name the day and I'm on it!"

Such things are rare in the marketing field. It's usually "dog-eat-dog" and that's where Marketers Unite aims to differ.

And I must tell you, I am pleasantly surprised by the feedback and response I got from most of the Admins I wrote to about the Underhill story. It plainly shows that there's still a whole bunch of kind-hearted and caring Owners and Admins -- who I've never even met in person -- and you can be sure they're here on my blog.

One of Beverly Maxfield's fantastic sites is Bull's Eye Surf -- where she has delivered over two million ads already.

That's a feat, considering this is a manual surf site and only a devoted Admin can encourage continuing discipline and enthusiasm from their members. There's really only one way to find out and that's to join her site and see for yourself how smartly she manages her site, asking everyone to participate. Just so you know, I've been a happy member of her site since 18 October 2018.

Remember that we said that we believe in "energy exchange"?  Well, that's what's expected of you when you do sign up at her site.

It's really all about give and take -- the new form of marketing now which has compassion and generosity in it. Gone are the days of selfish marketing. Gone are the days of greed. Gone are the days of just looking out for yourself. Marketing, with heart, is the new focus now.

Like Ms. Maxfield says in effect, "It's a surf site so we must all surf."

Let's help all help each other reach Ms. Maxfield's goal of reaching the next million -- it will be worth all the programs you intend to promote, too. Your sites will get the exposure it needs, under the capable helm of this lady Admin.

There's really no sitting on one's laurels -- she's living testimony of that. On and on we keep going -- together!

Join Bull's Eye Surf now and you will love and enjoy the experience of Ms. Maxfield's own brand of marketing.

P.S. It's EASTER today and Ms. Maxfield has got some cool "codes" for you to find on her site which will reward you with a banner and 100,000 credits, among other things. Members -- search now! Non-members -- it will be worth your while to JOIN this uber-cool surf site! I found four (4) codes lurking in there, but I ain't tellin' -- where's the fun in that? Go search now! Click on this link for starters. Oh, what glorious FUN!

Mike Miller of Traffic Hearts

Another swift and concerned respondent to the Underhill post I wrote was Mike Miller of Traffic Hearts of whose site I was a member of since 14 August 2017.

He expressed his desire to help immediately. But again, that was his way for he's one of the most caring and active Admins on the JV sites. Oftentimes, I wonder how he manages to multi-task as he has so many sites to look after. It is just so fitting then that he is Admin of Traffic Hearts -- for he does have the heart for people and his work.

This is a man who writes several awesome blogs himself and promotes programs he honestly feels will help people. We marketers always want to test the programs first before we put it out in the market for others to join. We take great responsibility for such, that's why. We all know how difficult it is to find good programs that really deliver and so we keep at it. We only want you to have the best as always.

When you see this banner, then you know you've come to the right place:

Another wonderful thing about Mr. Miller is that he's generous with his advice for people like me, and I'm sure for others who are always open to learning. If he sees there's some good he can share and it will truly help others, he will do so in his gentle and non-invasive manner.

Of course, you always listen to those who have been on the field longer than you have -- only makes sense to do so if you don't have a proud bone in your body. You will want to view some of his links here where he has created marvelous blogs showing his sites. I've been a blogger for sometime now and I know the work that goes on in there. Please check these three highly-informative sites when you do have the time:

Tom Witt of Drag Bus Hits

One of the first Admins who responded to my 26 March 2018 blog post, "For Val and Bob Underhill", was Tom Witt of Drag Bus Hits.

I am not surprised, for Mr. Witt is a very helpful and wonderful Admin. Right away, he shared my Underhill links on his many mail and surf sites. He was also the first one to support Valerie Underhill's Build Viral site by signing up as a member after I wrote many Owners and Admins about the Underhill plight.

Of course, you will love joining his many sites as they welcome you with this unassuming but friendly figure:

Then you'd know it's a site to join -- a sight that is his trademark.

Having been a member of these JV sites for six months now since September of last year, and being a writer, photojournalist, and communications and customer service lecturer, I always pay attention to how people serve each other. I also pay even greater attention to the tiny details that most people miss -- but I don't.

It is in these tiny details, such as the warm reception and pro-activity of many Admins to my Underhill blog post that made me create Marketers Unite. I somehow envisioned that it was but timely to create something that would unite all Marketers and Advertisers -- in fact, ALL people in business or positions of leadership who care to be united.

And the most important thing was not only in making sales but in what does one do when one of us needs help? Who cares to find out? Who cares to find a solution? Who cares to get creative, in the absence of funds? Who cares to organize something that would aid ANY marketer in dire need?

When you can see something bigger than yourself you can only be moved and be in awe, and get to work immediately.

And I was not disappointed in my initial efforts. Randy Brickhouse-Bey of Opal Solo Ads, Tom Witt of Drag Bus Hits, and a few other Admins I will be featuring soon -- all cared to help the Underhill family in each their own way.

I had discovered Mr. Witt's awesome site last year and signed up as a member on 4 December 2017. It was going to be Christmas time and I wanted to prepare for the Prince of Peace and Mr. Witt's logo defined the spirit of Christmas and ideally, every day:

And since it is Holy Week 2018 now, even more appropriate to share the peace once again -- may we all abide by it. For those who love art and color and life, you will appreciate what he shares on the front page:

"This Dragbus is what inspired the website design."

What a beautiful, flaming piece of art!

You see, each Admin has their own trademark which I have already identified, whether through their site or through their demeanor. And that's what's exciting to write about -- at how we're all so different, and yet by our very diversity, there is unity.

May Marketers Unite reveal such things to you.

Randy Brickhouse-Bey of Opal Solo Ads

Marketing is all about instincts. That's something science can never map out. It's plainly relying on your gut feel, on your first instincts, which I did when I first signed up on Admin Randy Brickhouse-Bey's Opal Solo Ads. And boy, was I ever right!

This was on 24 September 2017. On Mr. Bey's site, I found that you can earn cash and credits from reading the mails. I also learned to put out banner ads and text link ads, as well as use the credit mailer and solo ads.

This inspired me to further improve my Band of Banners blog which I created on 17 September 2017. The initial objective was to research, join, and test sites that pay people for reading mails. I was there to show them where they can earn when they sign up for FREE. Not everyone starts out with money for an upgrade so I researched and tested hundreds of sites for my readers and potential referrals. Most of the owners and Admins were wonderful and were very kind and generous. You will find that out when you sign up under the sites I've included on my blog.

Why am I saying all these?

Well, it's always good to look back on how one started so you always keep on track. It was Mr. Bey's Opal Solo Ads that really got me going.

It was a site that asked you for nothing and yet gave you everything. Most of the JV sites are like that anyway, but Mr. Bey's site stood out as you will see when you read further.

I got to know more about Mr. Bey's character as a person and as an Admin when I created this new blog you're reading now, Marketers Unite, from some urgent circumstances the other night.

Valerie Underhill, CEO of Build Viral, wrote us members about medical challenges her family were going through and would appreciate any help we could extend. Here she was with many concerns and yet she managed to put in an email for members of her site. I always pay attention to such things.

I thought to myself, "What can I do?" I had spent most of my money on my marketing efforts, but surely there was something I can do -- had to get creative.

This was the result of instant inspiration -- YES, I had to create a new blog and write about her -- and possibly about future needs of other Admins, or even just to acknowledge their kindness -- and I do have a lot of wonderful stories to tell.

You know how it is when you are driven by something bigger than yourself -- it's like a wave that comes at you and you have to ride it, lest you lose your initial inspiration and courage.

I rode that wave and Marketers Unite, espousing the cause of Val and Bob Underhill, was born. I worked till 1 a.m., writing all the Admins I knew until I could no more. To my mind, Valerie Underhill was CEO of a beautiful site. Why not ask the help of other Admins? That was the wave given me.

As luck would have it, many kind Admins responded -- following their own compass -- and I was deeply touched. I will be writing about these people in the next posts, but for now, I must extend my gratitude to Mr. Bey for sending emails and ads on 32 sites where I presume there'd be thousands of members, and here's what he wrote:

Peace and Prosperity
One of the members of my ad network created a blog page to help the Underhill family. They are going through a serious challenge right now. Please, just go to the page and read their story. Thank you!
Randy Brickhouse-Bey

He wrote the above material, including the links to my Underhill story, "For Val and Bob Underhill".

Marketers Unite is all about marketers helping each other. I believe in energy exchange. True marketers know about such stuff. When I first started Band of Banners blog, I aimed to give before I received.

When I received such generosity and sensitivity from Mr. Bey yesterday and up to today, I immediately wanted to give a gift back. Well, here's the gift, this very blog post, plus another thing that matters to him a lot -- his daughter's project.

Please CLICK on this link to go to her positive TEE shirt site where you will find many wonderful, original designs from one so young and so talented. When you purchase something from her, you will help her with her college education. There's really something beautiful about young people now -- how brave and creative they are. But then again, I'm not surprised. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Mr. Bey is one, wonderful apple tree of an example!

For Val and Bob Underhill

I have never met CEO Valerie Underhill in person but she and her family need our help right now.

In an email to members of her advertising site, Build Viral, she wrote:

Hello
I've been very busy offline due to health reasons.  Bob has been in ICU for almost two weeks and I know it is going to be a lot longer.
I am asking you to give and share. Even if it is only one dollar...

And so I clicked on the link she gave us members and saw for myself the challenges she's been going through, and yet she still manages to email us about her site where she is head.

Perhaps, we can all stop for a moment from our concerns right now and unite as marketers and advertisers with the objective of helping Val and Bob Underhill in whatever way we can. We each have our own ways of doing so. Let that be your compass.

Please click on this link which Val shared in her email.

Of course, she had no idea I created this blog post for her. It was my own compass I followed; you will have your own way of helping. All I know is I felt like doing it so I did.

Also, I believe in the POWER of prayers -- these always help in time of need.

Thank you, one and all for reading this post -- share it if you want to -- and may God continue to bless each and everyone of you always!
